Download Bomb Making Video, University of South Florida Student Sentenced to 15 Years in Prison
Ahmed Abdellatif Mohamed (27 years old), a student of the origin of Egyptians who are studying at the University of South Florida undergoes a 15-year prison sentence. Florida court stated Mohamed proven guilty after downloading a video how to create a remote bomb by 12 minutes in the online video site YouTube. It began when police found a video demonstration of the bomb making in his laptop. In addition, police also found explosive materials in his car.
The Video shows how to create a bomb and how to change the remote control Wal-Mart toy car become a bomb detonator. Video narration is in Arabic that has seen by hundreds of YouTube visitors.
In the trial, Mohamed admitted his action download the video is on his own initiative without the influence of other people or other groups. Mohammed also claims the video was intended for the ‘enemies’ of United States.
