High Intelligent Soldier Killed More Quickly in Battlefield

In a war, soldiers who have a high level of intelligence will be killed more quickly than with other soldiers who have low levels of intelligence. The conclusion is the result of the research from the British government in World War II.
According to the Times of India, data record about the intelligence level of Scottish soldiers shows 419 killed Scottish soldiers have average IQ at 100.8. Whereas about a hundred soldiers who are still alive (was born in the year 1921) have only average intelligence at 97.4. The data were taken in the year 1932 when the soldier who died was aged 11 years.
Psychologists from the University of Edinburgh, Ian Deary reveal the intelligentsia ability of military soldiers clearly have a certain standard. People with low intelligence are not included as a welcome member of the military. However, the research does not explain more about the relationship between the mentality of soldiers and intelligence.
